Ancient Stream Canine Recipe with Smoke-Flavored Salmon is rated out of 5 by 578.Rated 3 out of 5 by OlliesMom from My dog likes it BUT! My Corgi has been eating the Taste of the Wild Salmon Grain free version for about 2 years. I wanted to incorporate grain into his diet and was thrilled when Taste of the Wild came out with the Ancient Grains product line. I switched my dog to this new food gradually over a month or so and things seemed to be going well however my dog has had much softer stools then usually. I was hoping this would resolve over time but it has not - his stools are continuing to be very soft and sometimes even worse like melted soft serve ice cream. I am completely confused as to what to try or do next as I really really love the Taste of the Wild brand and the ingredients you use.Date published: 2019-11-09Rated 5 out of 5 by Alex from Best match for our dog Our dog has having allergic reactions to something and after going to vet specialist and being out on some drugs and hypo food she stabilized. We then had to do a food trail to test which ingredients she was allergic to by adding the whole ingredient into her hypo food to see if she would react. We learned she's allergic to chicken, beef and pork. After lots of research and reviewing we compared a bunch of brands and picked ancient stream from totw. She loves to eat it her coat is so nice and smooth, and best of all no reactions to them. I hope they keep everything the same and keep selling it as it so prefect right now for her.Date published: 2021-01-13Rated 5 out of 5 by 3Sibesmom from My Siberian Huskies Love their Pacific Stream food My Siberian Huskies are partial to fish-based food. I prefer to feed an ocean fish, specifically, salmon, rather than freshwater fish as I feel this is historically the protein the breed has been raised with and it is naturally high in omega fatty acids. I was happy to see the Ancient grains formula made available as I was became more apt to feed a grain-inclusive, rather than grain-free formula. We are currently using the Pacific Stream Ancient Grains variety. The dogs gobble it right down, in fact, they enjoy it so much, I have found it necessary to use slow-feeder dishes when they eat their meals!Date published: 2023-03-16Rated 5 out of 5 by Doyena from Glad we’re making the switch! It’s difficult to find quality dog food that are grain inclusive. So happy to have found this blend! My dogs are also digging around their old food and only eating this while we are trying to transition. I’m surprised that their stools are already firmer, especially while transitioning. My only caveat is that I like to feed wet food in the morning and there isn’t a grain inclusive salmon available. I also am concerned that the wet pacific stream has turkey in it. Hoping there will be an ancient stream wet that matches up to the dry in the near future.Date published: 2020-03-23Rated 5 out of 5 by Chrissy from Rufus won't eat anything else! I started using Canine Ancient Stream when my Belgian Malinois mix was a puppy as the Pacific Stream puppy formula is grain free and I wanted the ancient grains. I was able to do this because it is for ALL life stages and he loves it and has thrived on it! I have tried to find a comparable food that is a little less expensive but have have come to the conclusion that one does not exist!! people always comment on how shiny and soft his coat is and Rufus and I are very happy with Taste of the Wild Ancient Stream, canine formula!Date published: 2020-08-19Rated 5 out of 5 by Kelly from She loves it! My 1-year-old Siberian Husky was suffering from itchiness when I had her on Nutro Ultra. She just went to the vet and there is nothing indicating why she was itching, so I’m guessing it’s the Nutro since I just started her on it a month ago. Decided to switch her to this food - loved the ingredients, no chicken, which I found out lots of dogs have allergies to. She loves it so much that when I mixed this with her old food she only ate the half of the bowl that contained TOTW. I also got a deal at the store I bought it at while I was checking out, buy ten bags of TOTW and get one free! Nice.Date published: 2020-06-22Rated 5 out of 5 by Lynda from My 7 year old Bernese loves this food!! My dog Buddah is a 7 year d Bernese Mountain Dog and he became allergic to chicken last year. We slowly switched him, originally to Taste of the Wild pacific stream salmon. Recently our vet wanted us to switch to grains. Knowing how much he loved the pacific stream we switched him to ancient stream which he loves just as much. I researched the grains in this food and each one has its own job to help your pet stay healthy without unnecessary grains like corn or corn by-products. Buddah is also a very picky eater so for him to love this food it has to be tasty. His coat is shinier, he has more energy, his bowel habits have improved. He’s all around very healthy for a senior Bernese Mountain Dog.Date published: 2022-07-07Rated 5 out of 5 by laureng42 from My dog absolutely loved this product! So much that I put it in the same bowl with the food he normally eats, and he ate around his orginal food & gobbled up every bite of this amazing dog food! My smaller dog completely nudged it and didn't even attempt to try it, so her loss! I definitely reccomend this to all pet owners, especially for dogs with a sensitive stomach. My dog normally throws up almost everything & he handled this food very well. So glad & thankful for Influenster & Taste of Wild for letting me try this 100% complementary!Date published: 2019-11-04Hi I have my dog on your bison grain food can I mix it with your salmon food?
